Welcome to the Robbie Wagner Tournament Training Center website! Our juniors had a great year winning more sectional tournaments than ever before!! We have added several new programs for next year. We are adding more drills for the beginner to intermediate level player as well as a new training program for tournament level players. These tournament level players will have the opportunity to play and condition 5-6 days per week. Also included will be mental training sessions given once a month. All of our programs will be under the tutelage of our expert staff, supervised by coaches Igor Supica, Viktor Marinkovic, Adrian Chirici and Parsa Samii. Stonar Coleman is our Head Pro at our Glen Cove facility. This type of comprehensive program is not offered anywhere else in New York. Our adult leagues and lesson programs are continuing to grow. CARDIO-TENNIS, the newest craze in tennis which is offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, continues to be a huge hit. We have added several new evening leagues, a mens' singles and doubles league on Thursday evenings, as well as a working womens' singles league on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Our adult holiday camps were a huge success this year and will be bigger and better in 2008-2009 during the school breaks.
In addition to our programs, we are also in the process of making more improvements to your club. At our Glen Cove facility, we have installed an oversized court monitor in the lobby for all players to see which court they are playing on. As you may already know, we have added new cameras and televisions so that every court is viewable from the comforts of our lobby. In 2005, we have begun to proudly display banners on the walls and from the ceilings of our junior players who have won sectional and national tournaments at our Glenwood Landing Facility. In 2006, we produced our inaugural newsletter to give RWTT more of a club feel...without the membership fees!
We are encouraged with the rate of progress that all of our students have shown. We hope to make this year even better!
Fall 2008 Drill Sessions & Match Play are now being accepted!!!!
We are now accepting appications for Fall 2008 . Early registration is encouraged as limited space is available. All programs are for 17 weeks. We pride ourselves on getting each player to reach his or her maximum potential. All current lesson and drill group spots will be saved until June 21st.
All drills have a maximum of four students per court. Enrollment in the various drills is limited, so prompt sign-up is essential.
